Some people take forever to truly find their passion, but CVO aka Casimir von Oettingen has reached a point of clarity, when he created his new alias. His aim is to focus on the minimalistic structures of the electronic genre and add his signature stamp by introducing just the right amount of breaks. He has enjoyed residencies at Salon zur wilden Renate and Watergate, played venues like Sisyphos, Hoppetosse and Kater Blau. He shared his understanding of electronic music on labels such as Black Sea Side Music, Lauter.Records or As Usual in over 13 active years. Additionally, he was essential for the birth of Station Endlos in his hometown Halle, where he created a place to get lost in. CVO’s well formed and outstanding sound has carefully developed over the last years. Running the vinyl only label Bladehouse, whose Unknown Artist philosophy allows them to focus on the music rather than the artist themselves.
